I've never seen it on a 2nd gen but I was going through Andy440's Webpage and it said it was offered on the '68 model. However, it looks as if his information is only for Coronets but one would think it would be offered on a Charger too since they are considered a premium model.

I have a complete factory 68 cruise setup, I just have not installed it yet, it is not the same as the 69 and up
units, the main difference is just the lever and knob itself.

Here are some factory 68 units.

Out of the over 750 69's I have registered only 21 have the N88 Speed control.

Check out the facts & features page on the site as well.

My wiring diagram shows it. Wonder if the cruise control off a mid 70's A body would work.

Thanks, that's an excellent resource. Specifically I meant it would be nice to have that feature on this site for each of the nine model years.

I have it on my 70'.  Sorry no pictures.

Spike,
The picture you attached shows your A/C line existing off of the compressor & running towards the passenger side of the core support. My 70's a/c line exits the compressor towards the driver side & wraps around the battery, up over the core support & then runs under the top edge of the core support to the condensor. I have seen it done both ways in 70. Was this a mid year change or a production parts supply shortage/change or someting?

Had to be a mid year change, I have seen the hose routing you are talking about.

Nice to have here, yes. Troy's done enough with supplying a message board. It's our jobs to provide the other stuff. I think it's time to step up Bull and get your '68 Charger info site up. Same goes for you other year Charger people.  :yesnod:

Troy has done well and I'm not complaining. As far as a '68 site, there has been more than one person 'step up' in that area but there's been no follow-through yet. I'd be happy to help Troy do the work to increase the amount of reference information on this site rather than see one or two rinky-dink sites attempt to fill the gaps. I think the '70 registry site the exception, it's very well put together and there's a lot of good information there. Same goes for Chris's '69 site although there's no message board. If I knew where to get that sort of information I would ask Troy for permission to scan it and place it on a link here rather than start my own that is substandard and difficult to find. If he said no then I probably would start another site but it would probably end up being another one of those rinky-dink sites I mentioned before. I'm not sure why some people are so opposed to having more information on this site but it always seems to be an issue when I bring it up.

Did somebody say cruise?
