Hey all-
My '69 Charger has four wheel drums. I believe manual drums. I have a full used front disc brake set up from a 1973 Challenger 318 car. I believe they are power. What all do I need to bolt them onto my '69 and use them? I have the entire front spindles and disc set up with calipers.... control arms.....K frame, torsion bars....I have it all I do believe.

You may just need a different backing plate for the booster. I'm not sure but I think everything else is the same: spindles, master, booster (I think), calipers. Don't put too much stock in my input, I'm mostly replying to bump your post up lol

Yes you'll need a booster backing plate and either you replace the stock distribution block with a combo valve or the 2 or 3 setups disc valves, or to make it a bit easier put an adjustable prop valve in the rear line. Also add a 10# residual valve in the rear line. They're cheap and easy to mount. It's just a small cylinder.

I wonder if you need a bellcrank to go from manual to power brakes...

Apart from that you'll need flexible lines to go from the calipers to the hard lines. Don't reuse the drum lines.

You may need new hard lines depending on what shape they're in and if the new master has the lines on the same side as your drum master.

Apart from the spindles you shouldn't need to replace any of the other suspension stuff.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I do remember reading somewhere that the linkage is different from manual to power brakes  :shruggy:
