5/16 per side shorter,  worth  about 800 bucks with that gear.

do you want 5.13 gears? if not the carrier is different for 3.54 gears, what axle spline is in it now.

I am going to look at it tomorrow. From the pictures they look like the original axles. Casting number 602957-2 build date 10-8-76

John_Kunkel

602957-2 is a '68-'69 B-body rear originally with 3.54 gears so the '76 build date doesn't jibe. This is 5/8" wider overall than the '67.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

6spd68

I'm thinking he meant 67 build date?  Which would coincide with it being 68-69 B-body model years.
Every great legend has it's humble beginning.

can get very expensive, thats why I bought a new one from DR Diff, by the time you buy a new carrier that fits 3.54 gears & depending on what spline axles it has, it can sometimes be just a little more for a bad ass S60 from Strange eng.   :Twocents:

68 B body Dana 60 on ebay now @ $1850.    Use that for a comparison of what you want to spend on this deal.
item:  332019513044

To get 3.54 out of what you're looking at you need another diff anyway.   For all you know it could be welded up or have a spool in there now anyway.
