POR-15 Masking

I've been reading up on POR-15 and there isn't much I could find about masking off POR-15. I've read that if not prepped properly it can pull off in sheets. Also people have painted coke bottles and the paint hasn't chipped off, which leads me to believe the mask line wont pull off crisp when dried.

So my question is to those with experience, is it best to pull the masking tape off while wet or can you let it dry like normal paint?

I've used it extensively, but haven't needed to use it in years. I've had great experiences and had it wear like iron for decades and have had it come off in sheets. I've never needed to mask though. My guess would be that since it forms such a strong film, it might be hard to get a clean line when pulling the tape. You might try masking, painting, then pulling the tape after about 10-15 minutes or so as it's just starting to cure. I've generally used it with fiberglass cloth and mat to seal up small floor rust holes. I have one patch in the trunk of my Charger that's been there going on 30 years and is good as new. I painted the top of the well pipe in my front yard with it and it came off in sheets.
