Back in 2012 I built and enterd this model into the revell/ gearz international model build contest . I ended up winning my category witch was 16 and over, novice, box stock .Since it's charger related I thought I post it up.

It's not a real Hemi car; no torque boxes or gussets on the rear frame rails.

Beautiful! :2thumbs: I used to build models a lot when I was younger. Have over 10 awards for them. Stopped building about 5 years ago though when I got seriously into building the "bigger models"

Outstanding build!! Nice attention to detail, paint job looks excellent too! I'm a long time modeler myself, great way to pass the time durning our long cold winters up here in the north east! I built this '68 a couple years ago, paint it Tamiya Mica Red over a silver base with Pegasus "Chrome T's" after market wheels and tires. Do they still do that Revell/Gearz model contest?? I'd love to enter if they do!

Out doors in the sunlight!

First off... beautiful job!   Congrats!  :2thumbs:    It appears to be painted T5 copper poly which wasn't a '68 color tho.  :scratchchin:

Meanwhile... being a '68 there is another alternative...   Saving a precious '69 for future generations to enjoy ;)
