. . . but the repro industry does not think there is enough demand for new 68-70 Charger unibodies.

Bronzedodge

Yeah, I don't see 3500.- worth of parts there, even for 70 only stuff.  Valve covers look like they wouldn't survive the bead blast cabinet.  Must have been parked on dirt with a tarp over it.  Or maybe a swamp.   :eek2:
Mopar forever!

If you have a 70 AC big block car with the drive train and AC missing, this could be a start for putting your car back together. Won't be any fun tearing that engine down. Man that's a lot of rust!

Never seen that much rust in a car

You mean you've never seen that much car in a pile of rust before.

I have a rust free 1968 B Body platform if anybody decides to rebuild this rust pile.

All frame rails, floor boards, trunk floor, firewall, A pillars, inner fender wells, rockers, rear fender wells both inner and outer. RUST FREE!!

Meantime like others said I wonder what the "other" parts are.  :scratchchin:

I dont understand how its rusted that bad. Im up here in southern tip of canada in the rust belt and have seen cars 20 years older than that charger sitting out in the weather for an extra 20 years not that bad. Was it in a swap water up to the roofline ???

This thing still looks better!

Only way I can think of a car ending up like that is being covered in salt water.  :shruggy:

Hell the '57 Fury that was buried in water for 50 years is technically in better shape  :nana:

Yeah a strange thing to say.  He drove into a swamp?

Also depends how close they are to the ocean..
1970 Dodge Charger R/T.. Owned since 1981

It's near the ocean.

Maybe it got flooded in a hurricane.

Maybe somebody stripped the paint off, the resto stalled, and then the salt and & flood got at it.  Etc.

Pat1973charger

Ha, my car is looking better and better all the time!  ;D

For the win.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
