SIX WAY POWER SEAT TRACK FROM A 79 NEW YORKER IN TO B-BODY ?

I HAVE A FRIEND WHO OWNS A JUNK YARD AND I STUMBLED ACROSS A 79 NEW YORKER , FOR THE KIDS IN THE AUDIENCE THIS IS A REAR DRIVE , I GRABBED THE SIX WAY SEAT TRACK AFTER STUDYING IT . I,M BUILDING A HEMI  DAYTONA CLONE FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T VENTURE OUT OF THE INT SECTION , AND IT BOLTED TO MY SEAT IN THE SAME HOLES AND THE SEAT TRACK HAS AN EXTRA SET OF HOLES THAT CAME WITHIN A 1/8 OF MY HOLES , WHAT A FIND . NOW I KNOW THERE ARE GUYS SAYING WELL THAT IS NOT ORIG , OR IT DOESN'T HAVE A PART # OR SOMETHING , FOR THOSE BORING , BALDING JACKASSES WHO COULDN'T GET LAID AT A WHORE HOUSE WITH A FIST FULL OF FIFTIES , READ ON !. IT LOOKS GREAT IT WAS FREE AND IT WORKS!    LARRY

From what I know the floor pan is a differnt shape & the base would need to be shimmed or modified to sit level

I put one in a 68 once. It was out of a 77 Cordoba. It worked pretty nice except I had it wired with a fuse in line to the battery. Kept blowing fuses. If I did it again I would tie in a relay.
Still looking for 15x7 Appliance slotted mags.....
