Seems like a real lawless guy to me. lol

Some people have nothing better to do.  I have a feeling as this video gets out those ladies may hear a lot more noise around there.

They remind me of my Aunt. No joy in her at all about anything.......and my poor Uncle (RIP) was the coolest guy on the planet.

The sad thing is they call him Lawless and the inspectors have stated he's doing nothing wrong. Yet they continue to pursue the issue like they know better than the government officials. Sad disturbed people bothering this man...

Some of that is mine (first time I've donated to a go fund me acct). I hope he comes out on top of this situation.

BTW, this is the third site I've seen this story posted on, so he's getting help from all over.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Yeah, this was the first time I've ever donated to a GoFundMe account.

I couldn't press "donate" fast enough. Nosey neighbors with absolutely nothing to do drive me insane. I wish the guy lived next to me.

Well after seeing the video I have a feeling the women do not have many friends and are most likely jealous that he has many people who visit him on a daily basis. They have to much time on there hands. Hope he is victorious and this lawsuit will prevent others from doing this again.

He just has a lot of friends that like to come over and work on thier cars?  Meh....  He's operating an illegal business, but no one can prove it.

The way these situations escalate is that neighbors got tired of something he was doing that negatively affected thier "right to the quiet enjoyment of thier property".  When they asked him directly to tone-it-down, he likely gave them the big "f u, it's my property, I can do what ever I want".   Now they are just saying "F U" back.  :Twocents:

I get a much worse vibe from the guy than I do from the women.

I read into it a little deeper as well... 15 cars per day going in using a shared (easement) driveway.  That's A LOT of friends.   :scratchchin:

They have a shared driveway, I did not know that. I don't think I would like 15 cars a day going through my driveway if it were shared.

still think i would rather this guy as a neighbour , would take some of the heat off  me then ,   by unwanted attention from people in a 1/4 mile radius , when I fire up the charger ... or  work on /break in a cam  ;)

Sounds like a case of the people who move next to a race track and then complain its too loud.

And any one of you that owns a trailer knows how quickly you gain friends after that purchase....

Poor guy is wheelchair bound and builds a badass garage. He is being given no money for the use of his building so let him enjoy the company. People probably pay him in beer, cheer, and good spirit. I do the same thing with my stuff.

69wannabe

I kinda know how this guy feels, got talked into working on an old dodge RV for a guy because he was losing his residence or where he was living. I don't have a big place but he was a friend of my brother so I told him I would look at it. So I come home from work one day and it's sitting in front of my garage. I was thinking it was a smaller one but it was like 30 or more feet long.

Not interested in working on it at all at this point it was huge and taking up alot of space and it was a 72 model. It should have been hauled off for scrap and not dumped in my back yard. My brother lives next door to me and I went and told him to just tell these people to come get it out of my way. It's gonna cost more than it's worth to get it to run but he said they just want to see if I can get it running. I had no contact information and my brother only had his phone number so I told him to let them know it's gonna run between $500 and $1000 bucks to just get it up and running if it even will run.

He walked over about a week later and say's they want it running so they will pay whatever to get it going. I started picking at it in early June 2014, rebuilt the carb, replaced fuel pump and installed a used battery in and got it running. Wound up having to install a fuel pressure regulator since the carb kept flooding over. Had also replaced the needle and seats with genuine holley one's and two new brass floats. Got it running and it would start and run and move under it's on steam. I was running it off of a 5 gallon gas jug since I new the fuel tank was rusty. It had been sitting since 08 or 09 and it was in fair shape but not great shape. It wasn't sporting the better 440 it had the 413 RV engine in it.

It's now mid july and it runs and moves so I told my brother to let them know it runs and we need to settle up. I had about  $600 bill in this thing with part's and labor and was ready to get it out of my way. At the end of August the guy show's up and want's to know what he owe's me. After telling him $600 bucks he get's mad and I told him that he knew what it was going to cost and my brother said to get it going. He didn't deny that he said to fix it but he was still pissy about it. He said he couldn't drive it like that and wanted me to have the gas tank cleaned and lined. I said fine, pay me what you owe me and I will get the tank fixed so you can come and get it.

He handed me $100 bucks and said that's all I have, I said well i'm not touching it anymore until you pay me up. That was august 2014. I never saw the guy ever again. The RV still sitting in my way as of august 2015. In december I told my brother to just call these people and tell them to come get this junk pile out of my way. He said what about what they owe you and I said they never planned on paying me anyway so just tell them to come get it.

Middle of january it is still sitting here, I ask my brother if he told them and he said the guy said for him to just sell it. My brother has it sold and the guy is up here with the money to buy it and the owner come's up and say's it's not for sale and he has it gave away to someone. My brother has got a taste of these people's crap now and he just told him he needed to get it out from up here that I was gonna have it hauled off if they didn't come get it.

February and it's still sitting here, I ask my brother to call them again and tell them to please come get this thing out of my yard and the first weekend in march a guy came by and said he would haul it off. I told him I will give him one more week and if he wanted to come by next weekend and it's still sitting here he could get it. So once again my brother called them and told them that if they don't get it this week it's gonna be hauled off. The owner came by on tuesday, looked at it and left my brother said.

Sunday came and the guy came and hauled it off, tuesday I get a phone call from the owner. This is the first time I have heard from this guy in 18 months and he is all pissy about his precious RV. I said why didn't you just come get it 4 months ago when I asked you to and he said he didn't have nowhere to put it. I told him I didn't want it here and I been basically begging for them to get it out of my yard. He said he was told he could leave it here as long as he wanted to and I said really??? I haven't talked to you but one time in twenty two months and I know I didn't say that!!!

Then he said that he had been trying to sell it every since he dropped it off here and I said well my brother has had it sold twice that I know of and you backed out on it both times. So we cussed each other back and forth and I finally asked him was it really for sale and he said yes so I asked what he want's for it and he hung up on me. I tried to call the guy back but he wouldn't answer. I was pretty hot that he expected me to just let this junk pile rot in my yard without having a problem with it.

After a day or two of me cooling off I told my brother to call him and see if I could pay him for it minus what he owe's me or I can get the RV back if he want's to pay the tow bill back to his place but he wouldn't answer the phone and his voice mailbox was full.

Now it's seven months later and I found out the owner of the RV shot himself in the chest and isn't here anymore. Two day's later his dad call me up asking me for cash for the RV and I just told him I had basically forgot about it since I had heard nothing about it in 7 months and he get's pissy and hang's up on me.

Now I got to go to magistrate court because he claims I sold that POS and he want's $2850 for a $500 RV. I will not ever "help out" anybody ever again!!! Pleny of shop's in town to work on vehicles these day's and I haven't even had time to piddle with my charger which is something I like doing.

I have never had to go to court for anything and I just wonder what yall think and if I have a chance of coming out with a good defense in this thing.

Sorry so long just had to rant for a few min's

charge69

WOW ! What a story, 69wannabe!  What happened to the RV ?  If you had it towed, who did it? Did you actually sell it?  Again, where is the RV now?  I've never owned one of those but I would think there is a title to it somewhere. Is it currently registered or not?
You have a LOT more patience than I do. It would've been gone from my property a long time ago!

A guy came by here and asked if it was for sale and I told him if he wanted to have it hauled out of here he could have it. He said his son was disabled and needed a roof over his head and he could actually use it. Told my brother to tell the owner he had one week to get it it or this guy was going to haul it off and he never came and got it so it got hauled a couple of counties away from here.

If worse came to worse I could most likely come up with it but I would have to kick a poor disabled guy out in the cold. The last tag that was bought was in 09 so the last time it ran was in 08 or 09 I guess. I just don't understand if this thing was worth so much to them why they wouldn't just come and get it out of my way.

I could never leave one of my vehicles somewhere for two weeks much less two years. Just had my old truck painted and he kept it for two months and I was calling twice a week just to check on the progress even tho I told him to take his time.

They didn't really even want it running they just wanted a place to park it that they didn't have to pay a monthly storage fee and so it wouldn't be in their way. That's it in a nutshell......

charge69

That happened to a local motor cross track.  Also happened to a lot of farmers, although, I haven't heard many of those stories since '08.

BUT, in this case, do we know the illegal repair shop was there before the old ladies?

I live in georgia, a friend of mine hooked me up with someone that works at the court house in my county to tell him my side of the story. The guy taking me to court lives in the county beside of me, I am the last house in my county but he doesn't know that. The guy at the court house said he can't sue me in a different county so they can't try a case out of it's venue. Also he asked where the owner of the RV is and I told him he had shot himself and had passed away. He said if there was no will showing the RV was left to him then he can't claim it as his so he can't collect nothing on something he doesn't own.

He also said that I can file a counter-claim for my labor and parts that is owed to me for working on it. I doubt he want's to pay for anything, he is just looking for a dollar.

He asked where the RV went and I told him if I had to produce it I could, but only if he want's to pay the bill on it. And then he will have to pay to have someone to go get it.

This guy thinks the RV is long gone and he is gonna get some money for sure but I bet he will be back peddling when I say if he wants that junk pile back I can produce it.

Since he filed a claim out of his venue and they have to trow it out because of that he will have to come to my county and file another claim all over again. I think it cost's about 80 bucks to file a claim so he is already out 80 and he will be out another 80 once he has to file again.

Sadly all of this is over an RV that maybe worth 500 to 800 bucks

Had to go for a pre-trial today, the judge had us sit down with a mediator to try and work out a solution to the issue without going in front of the judge. He told the mediator the motorhome was only at my residence for 8 months but I had a receipt for the carb kit and fuel pump on it from may 2014. It was on my property for 22 months total. From august 2014 to march 2016 without any communication from the owner. It was abandoned for 18 months here without any communication from or with the owner. The mediator told him that was a long time and asked why didn't someone pick it up from here. That's what I didn't understand, if it meant so much to them why did they dump it off in my yard and leave it and refuse to come and get it. He had no title to the motor home and I had the tag ran and it came back in his son's name only. The mediator told him he couldn't claim something that he didn't actually own unless there were legal paper's showing that it would go to him if something happened to the owner which he didn't have.

The guy could see he didn't have a case and got irritated pretty quickly once thing's didn't seem to be going his way. He thought it had a 440 in it which would have made it somewhat worth something but it was the smaller 413 engine which is not very desirable so that was another strike against the worth of the motorhome. I didn't really see a solution and since my brother had it sold for $1000 and my repair bill was $886 I offered him $114 to settle and be done with this crap. He wasn't happy with my offer then he just said screw it i'm done here and tossed papers around on the desk and signed off that he was done with it. He said he didn't want my $114 bucks and was done. I signed that it was resolved and hit the door and never looked back.

I really don't understand how someone could leave a vehicle on someone else's property without coming by and checking on the vehicle or calling or nothing. It was only here for the free parking and that's what I told the mediator. They didn't have anywhere to park it but it wasn't mine and wasn't my responsibility to keep it here. The mediator told him that if it was here for that amount of time on my property that I could have it removed since after that long it would be considered an abandoned vehicle.

I honestly just wanted it gone and hopefully this is the end of the motorhome ordeal....

Yeah, glad to get it over with. Honestly wish the guy would have just came and got it but he had no intention of moving from my back yard. I have a 413 out of an 65 Imperial. I plan you use the crank and rods to stuff into a worn out 383 I have to make a 431/434 stroker engine. They can be useful  :Twocents:

Yeah, I kept the crank and rods out of the engine it's the block that really is of no use to me. I have a couple of good 440 blocks to work with if I need to build one up....

Glad you got it sorted Wannabee!
I've been looking out 'forever' in the UK for a 413 block.
Finally found one (off an American Air-base) in lincolnshire.
Its true what they say about the later 413 blocks, they have under-bored 440 cores(liner/sleeves)!!! :2thumbs:
So a mere 62 thou overbore will be nothing to this block!

Why did I want one you are asking?
I have a 64 D200 WSS 426 truck.
No chance on finding a 426 wedge block so a 413 is the only way forwards for me.
Just gonna find some Max-Wedge heads and I will be in Mopar Heaven..

Now I know how my roof got so dented lol...
IF A JOB's WORTH DOING, ITS WORTH DOING WELL, RIP DAD.

LOL, I wish I could say that about my roof!! I'm not sure about the sleeves on the later model 413's, I had planned to have it sonic tested but I came across the 440 block's that I have now so I abandoned that idea. I have heard alot of people use the 413 blocks to make a 426 wedge engine's with which doesn't seem impossible even if it isn't thick enough to bore out to a 440 bore.
