I see where they are going to award a "Nats 100mph Club" decal in Columbus this year to anyone hitting it.  A small thing but still cool I thought.

BSB67

I think it is cool too.

It been a long time since I've been to the Nats, but I remember that few of the non-race participants would make 100 mph.  Maybe things are different now.

500" NA, Eddy head, pump gas, exhaust manifold with 2 1/2 exhaust with tailpipes
4150 lbs with driver, 3.23 gear, stock converter
11.68 @ 120.2 mph

Loving those numbers BSB67...
512ci' being built with Eddy heads as we speak (er TYPE)...
Anything in the 11's will be Coolio and over 100mph of course... :2thumbs:

Gonna speak to the UK Nats organiser about a limey 160kph sticker too... :drool5: :drool5: :drool5:

How far exactly, is an imperial mile?
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Eh?......it's exactly the same as the US mile...which is exactly the same as a mile any where else in the world ......except Belgium strangely!

Thought I'd ask.  Just looked up mile on Wikipedia and it looks like there used to be all sorts of different standards.  Also didn't realize how far back in history that measure went.
