DAY CLONA

nice car...unfortunately it needs a color change, inside and out

FY1 Charger

....because folks are too embarrassed to be seen driving a car that colour in public so they stay out of site, nice and protected in their garages! Ok, ok calm down it's just a joke green and triple green owners!..just a joke.

Funny thing it, I love it.  I don't get the hate for green.  I was (and admittedly still am) wanting to go dark green metallic with my '68.  Paint code G - "racing green metallic"

Back in the day, it (green) was a very popular color much like the silver/gray is today. A green auto with a contrasting (black or white) top and interior was then and is now a much more acceptable combination. I think green is a very nice paint color but a green vinyl top and green interior added to the green exterior is just too much for me.

It's not that there's hate for green interiors, rather there's no love for it.

The green cars always survive

I imagine it was 20 green cars to 1 at dealers back then. Green was very popular.

This.  Triple-green is what bugs me.

Green interiors get the most groans.  But I think green vinyl tops are only spared the groans because they are so easy to change.

The actual shades of green they used in the 1960s were not my thing either.  IMO they have not aged well.  A lot of popular colors from that era are unpopular now, whether it's automobiles or other products.

Say what you want about modern car styling but they keep coming up with awesome color shades in the last 10-15 years.

Even back in the day I hated this shade/version of green, whether it was on a Mopar, or a GM product/Vette it was still unpalatable, turd browns/golds were also popular back in the day...the silver/gray thing is just overdone nowadays, future generations will probably look upon silver/gray vehicles with the same disgust as we do for green/brown things from the 60-70's

I am still in the midst of my long search for a 68 R/T, but this color is at the top of my list.  I think the GG green looks outstanding on these cars.  I would pick it over just about every other color, with EE dark blue and BB black being near the top as well.

That being said, since there are really no cars to choose from I don't think I will look down on any color when the time comes!

Great color!   Looks great on a 68 with a white stripe.

No sale @ $36,500.00

Is it just me or is that really good money for that car.

Being a non R/T car I would have taken the money and ran. But then again, I have really been watching prices all summer and they seem to be on the rise.
