Does anyone know if any 1968 Chargers were available with a floor mounted 4 speed without a console?

ws23rt

Do you mean floor shift 4 sp without the console?

fivejah

Good grief I just read my post and boy did I screw that up.  Yes, floor mounted 4 speed without a console. Sorry about that.

bull

Yes there were. I can't tell you how many but I know they exist.

Here's a little info: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,112526.0.html

I have one! It's got a buddy seat. I don't have any good pictures online though. I may try to dig some up.

I also have a column auto with no buddy seat (so just a plain tunnel between the buckets).

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Yeap... I have a friend with a survivor MM1 / X9 non-console 4speed '68 Charger R/T.....

Here I found a shop who restored one.  Interesting way to fasten the seat belts.......

Is it just me, or is one side mudded, the other not?

Personally, I think it is a crack in the bondo/filler on the driver's valance seam/joint..

Also noticed a white Superbird in the background...

Not sure if it's a crack? LEON.

Troy

I'm not seeing a crack - but it is saggy on the left side! Definitely not shaped with metal.
