Hey everyone,

Just a quick note to say I have been reading this forum for many years and finally decided to join. The main reason why is, I'm finally at a point where I will be purchasing my dream car - 69 Charger. My passion for Chargers and Mopars, started in my youth. My neighbor had a 1969 Charger RT I fell in love with it and promised to buy from this family when I was old enough. Fast forward to 1982, I join the Army, call my neighbors up and tell them I am ready to buy my dream car from them. I have known this car since they bought it new in 1969. They sadly told me, the car was stolen and totaled in an accident.  I was heart broken.

The past 30 years, I have raised kids, established my career, blah, blah, blah. But most importantly I am finally ready to move forward with a purchase, as soon as I find the right one and money is not an object this time. Of course I will not waste my money on a overpriced what someone thinks it worth. But i know the market, I know Mopars, and I know what Chargers go for. When I find the right one, it will be a fair deal for both parties. I don't believe in ripping people off, nor do I believe taking advantage of someone either. I'm a firm believer in Karma.

So I wanted to take a few minutes to say it's great to meet people that has a strong passion as I do in Chargers. I appreciate reading everyone's stories and look forward to participating in the forum and learning more about everyone's rides and the stories behind them. And hopefully soon I'll be posting pics of my ride, as soon as I find the right one!

Welcome,  Sounds like a superb plan.  I look forward to seeing your charger when you get it.

I have faith in Karma too.  I sometimes notice that the good things kick in after a few bumps ..... and that is OK by me.. :smilielol:
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....
