which power steering pump

Looking at reman saginaw pumps, A1 Cardone or AC Delco, is one better than the other? anyone have any experience with reman pumps - good, bad?

Did you have a trw pump originally ?  if so you will have to get new mounting bracket lines and fittings to switch . REMAN trw pumps are like unicorns apparently . I got lucky I found a rebuild kit for mine. Just as I was about pull it off an tear it down . it stopped leaking ! .

from what I read though people are happy with the aftermarket if that's the route your forced to take. Or there is the firm feel route if ya want a bit of peromance feel.

Thank you Canadian1968, I currently have a saginaw pump with the correct brackets, have the correct fitting and hose as well. I know the pump leaked like a sieve on the last motor so I was going to get a reman one and hope for the best. I may have to save up and get one from FF

Call Dave at www.rosevillemoparts.com.  He has good reman pumps.  You might just want to get new lines too.
