Anybody ever found a really nice Mopar (or other brand for that matter)just sitting abandoned in an old barn or out in the bushes?

There was a barn near me that had an old 1952 or so Plymouth in it. After many years, the barn collapsed enough to reveal the car sitting in it,but it wasnt damaged. People left notes on the door of the empty house for years trying to buy the old car, but the guy who owned the place wouldnt return any calls, even though he was there pretty often.

And then one day, the barn was gone and so was the car. I dont know what ever happened to the car.  :shruggy:

And so the story goes.

I might have found one or two through the years.  This year has been exceptionally fruitful.

If you would like to see a few thousand images I've taken over the past decade, you can check them out here.

Word of mouth mostly, guy at work tells me his dad knows of a 69 R.R. 383 4-spd., convert. sitting in a garage. Months pass, then yesterday says his dad got to look at it, snapped a few Pict's. & he sent them to me. No shots of floor or trunk floor, but over all looks good. Pass. side door caved in top looks OK from the one shot. store goes, he bought new, parked in 75 ever since. He passed away, she was ready to sell when his dad was talking to her, but got teary eyed about & changed her mind. But no giving up hope on it yet. This how I got my last 69 S.E. 383 4-spd. one owner Charger, guy at work told me about. So just ask around or let people know what you have or are interested in. Sometimes they just find you.

Here's a good summary of my work style.  Also I keep things anonymous.  No names and no locations.
