Wtf!

First i did a liquid gasket maker (grey stuff), it leaked (might have not waited long enough for it to set).

Then got a kork gasket (here in germany its hard to get fancy stuff), used a tad of gasket maker, set everything correctly, and it still leaks! It looks like the pan is straigh. It leaks up front. Not seeping, im talking after a drive there is always a wet spot! What am i doing wrong??! Its mainly towards the front...

68 charger btw, auto tranny.

Are you sure it's the pan gasket?  The selector seal is known to leak and looks like it's leaking from the pan.

Band adjusters can leak too. Check with a mirror

could be the front torque converter seal as well

I have blamed the pan gasket before when the leak was actually above that and just dripping down. As said, the gear selector shaft passes through the case and the rubber seal sometimes does not get replaced during trans rebuilds. The ATF lines can weep fluid too.

Nss are prone to leaks through the plastic too.

Any leak that originates above the pan tends to run down to the pan gasket area before dripping off, all of the leak sources mentioned are above the pan gasket.

Start with a dry trans, spray can brake cleaner works good, then visually pinpoint the leak source.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Dipstick tube o ring also.  I had a dipstick tube with a crack in it on my Demon, thought it was the pan gasket until I degreased it and cleaned it completely like JK said.
