I have a single DIN stereo I'm installing in my 69. Right now I just have an aluminum radio delete plate in there. I'm going to cut it out for the stereo.
Question is, do you guys know what install kit I should use for the tray or...?

Any pics would be great!

If you bought a new or quality used stereo head it should come with it's own sheath that slips off and you bend parts of it to get it to fit tightly into the dash, then slide the head unit into that.

It does have that. But I think it could use some extra reinforcement via some side rails or maybe there's an install kit that would fit behind it?
