as with the former thread on this car .....

QuoteThe car does have  rust and rot and comes with a 1969 B BODY donor car WITH nice solid frame rails.

the pictures that are not of the '68 (title-less, VIN tag-less) HEMI Charger R/T ARE of the '69 Coronet parts car included in the auction

He's just waiting for that dummy with money to buy it. Anyone with 68 charger knowledge knows the title Vin does not match the body Vin

Mytur Binsdirti

Not the first time that heap's been for sale on fleabay.

XS29J8B120608 is a "BOGUS" fake - invented VIN number for this Charger R/T

found the earlier pics of the VIN-less HEMI Charger R/T  :eyes: ain't she pretty? (& these pics are somewhere on this site, as I had to rename them)

body numbers in 1968 are not a partial VIN#, they are SHIPPING ORDER NUMBER

he has gotten away with just making up a vin number though...makes you wonder how many fake hemi cars are out there

6bblgt

not really, he has procured a title for a 1968 HEMI Charger R/T that Chrysler didn't build.

he still has NO VIN TAG!

8B120608 was a DART

People have been faking numbers cars since before many guys in the hobby were born.

It really discourages my interest in numbers cars in general.

Didnt all hemis have 9 3/4 dana's

NO

HEMI + automatic = 3.23:1 non-Sure-Grip 8-3/4" STANDARD
HEMI + 4-speed = mandatory OPTION DANA 60 "axle package"

Are you talking about the rear underside pics? That's of the parts car. The "pipe" is the fuel filler neck so it was something with the filler behind the license plate.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

To be clear, the core support stamp for this is B8X120608.

:2thumbs: To be clear B8XI20608:

B = Hamtramck, MI assembly plant
8 = 1968 model year
X = Charger
120608 = Shipping Order Number (a Charger S.O.#) NOT a VIN sequence number
