Nah, you didn't mess up. Picking a color for a charger is wicked hard as it wears any [edit: color ] original color very well.  :yesnod: Besides, it is something that can be changed.  :2thumbs:

What color did you go with?

Went 68 silver / A1.   My second guessing was due momentary confusion between B7 and B9.    Growing up, B7 was the color of our town's utility trucks -  and it left a scar.  But the final decision was that after 20+ years of a silver charger, any other color and it would no longer have been "my" charger.  Sounds dumb, but some long term owners might understand.........

Thanks for the pics and the links.

You did good in my books.  Silver is about my favorite.

Here is a eb7 that was on a 70 charger at New Hamburg this summer. You can see the b5 car behind it.
I used to own a mopar because it was different, but now I know better.

Great comparison of the two colors.  Was that your intention?

I prefer the B7 better than B5.  Obervation: Over the years I have not found a color that is more love-hate than B5 blue.  No middle ground.

I went to a number of shows before I picked a color and it amazed me how a color could work on a coronet and not on a charger (and vesa versa).  I found it quite frustrating.

I like both colors a lot, but prefer B5 more.  From what I have seen, B5 seems to have a lot more fans... but I would not even consider changing either of my B7 cars  to B5 (or any other color).

My B5 Charger 500 just received it's new B5 paint over the weekend...  :coolgleamA:

Just got lucky with the b5 car in the background. I really wanted a closeup of b7.  :coolgleamA:

It's a 6-year-old thread. We're chasing down the "right" B5 for our job and yours is it. May we know the paint and code, or how you managed to get what you did? We'd like to use Glasurit but need to be sure we get the right formula. Tried to PM but your box is full.

Seems I've seen every B5 out there, differences in photography/resolution/lighting and the rest. But we want the "average" B5 just a tad richer/darker. When I tried to PM it showed you'd been active this morning so figured it was safe to resurrect the thread. Thanks
