Radiator fitment issue

The radiator in my 69 is out of a C body, it was in there when I got the car. I believe it's a 3 row. It bolts into the car just fine and works great so I'm not planning on changing it out. However, I now have some fitment issues in that the frame of the radiator hits a few of the bolts holding the a/c condenser. The relief bumps in the radiator frame don't line up with the condenser bolts. I used to have bolts that had a really flat head so the radiator would just sit against those and it worked alright. But I have since lost those and now have original style bolts. In other words, the radiator frame sits about 3/8" from the car's frame...

I'm assuming there's differences between radiators so this looks to be one of them. These rads are not worth much right? Because I'm thinking of drilling holes in the radiator frame to clear the condenser bolts!

Would a T-slot bolt solve your problem? Not like it's holding the transmission in or anything. Would imagine that you could find them at any home improvement store.

Not worth posting on craigslist in my experience.  $50 maybe, tops.
If it's working well I'd say modify as necessary!  :Twocents:

The bolt goes into a c-clip on the condenser so I'm not sure if it would work unless I can get a wrench on the head of the T bolt. It's that or drilling relief holes for the bolts so the radiator sits flush against the frame.

Better off recycling it, I found out the hard way.  :-\

Looks like I can keep this setup! I found some bolts with a flat head and allen wrench. Radiator is in place.  :2thumbs:
