I wonder how close one could come to making a copy of this car --as it is in this ad-- for 55k?

I dunno- this car was pretty well picked apart in another thread.... strange welds on door, bad gaps at doors and hood.

I believe you could pull this off for $55K as I think they skimped on bodywork.

It has the look from a distance but like said above, it'd be good to see resto pics.

It does look good in pictures, however, the hood needs adjustment (up on left rear) which makes one wonder if that's indicative of the quality of work because it has been for sale for a long time.

It does look nice in the pictures.  I've heard the ballpark figure of 30k to do a resto of this sort so that would leave 25k for the shell and all the parts/pieces.

car was bought "as is" by the dealer. It was sold from a private guy originally on ebay.
Think it sold for 47k? or 37k?

Ive seen this one on ebag for a long time off and on. Looked so nice in pics along with a nice color combo I wondered why not sold. Now we know why nice catch on the fake tag. Without detailed pics of it from bare metal on up to paint. Run and run fast.

sent him a message last night asking for him to explain with the two different tag pics  , he sent me a link to stock mopar fender tag decoder  

they should have just restored the auto /air car it would have been fine as is
apart from the fake tag it looks quit nice , even with that burnt orange interior ( not my most favourite colour for a interior )

have been contacted by dealer , he's selling car on commission . is now looking into tag discrepancy ,thinks owner was as clueless as he was  and thought he had a 4 speed car . sent thanks for pointing out "two " tags and is doing research on cars history , its now in his hands
