It's very interesting how this car is assembled, and some of methods and tools they use. I wonder what the bag looking things are on the roof in the third pic from the bottom?

Funknut,  thanks for the video links.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I'm thinking those sandbags may have been used while installing the windshield?  This is a much slower process than a normal assembly-line as this car is pretty much handbuilt they only produce about 3 completed cars a day.
I also enjoy seeing the other cars in the background moving along like the red viper.
Thank you
Pat

Also the biggest team working on a car though! And a hefty budget... :P

I'm not too sure about that, have you seen some of Charger-Bodie builds? He is the king of quick and great work!
Thanks

I'm very partial to the blue and white stripes vipers from way back and I think the brass monkey wheels will complement the leather interior.
Thank you
Pat

Some may find this interesting but there is only 75 employees working on the Viper line and that includes the employees that assemble the engine at the same plant.  It's a shame to think that they will no longer be working there in less than a year :-(
Thanks

That's interesting. I doubt they will no longer employ them, or at least I hope not, I would bet they'll be building other vehicles. Hopefully not on the minivan line, for their sake.

For what you're paying, I sure hope the seats are genuine 'Corinthian leather'......

I was just implying that they would no longer be working at that factory. I'm sure skilled labor like there's would find another position quickly within the company.  I think this particular factory is too small to do anything but specialty cars, years ago they also built the Prowler in the same plant.  Hopefully they have plans for some other specially vehicle that can built there and just retool this particular factory.

Leather that Ricardo Montalban would be proud of ;-)

Never thought I'd see a wing made by dodge that made the 69 Daytona wing look mild
Thanks!
