Thought I would post the pictures of my 1 of 1 custom ACR E Viper as it is built. Dodge has a special program where you can order a viper anyway you want with over 18,000 different colors to choose from. When you order the vehicle this way they have a concierge service that keeps you informed during the entire build with photographs of every aspect of the vehicles construction. This is the last year for the Viper so I placed an order for the car. I was only 5 when you could order a new 1969 Daytona, 49 years later I'll get my winged Dodge ;-)
Thanks
Pat

I know what an ACR is. I imagine ACR"E" stands for "expensive"?

This is really neat! At this rate, it looks like your car is gonna be finished next Thursday. ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

The E stands for Extreme Aero  but could easily be  replaced with Expensive ;-(
Thanks!

Less the 3 or 4 days that I take to bring it back home this will not take the place of the charger!  That's my daily therapy ;-)

Yes everything on this car is a trip.  They build about 50 to 60 cars a month and they're still a lot to do but at this rate I hope to get the car late September/early October?
Thanks

I thought about posting this in the Aero section, but out of respect  to the original Daytonas I decided not to.
Thank you

It would have been cool to get a few more years out of the viper by putting hellcat engines in them.  :icon_smile_sad:

Hopefully, the Viper will return in some form or another in a decade or so, in a similar way that Ford did with the GT.

My goodness that is EPIC!!  Congrats brother

The hellcat would've been an amazing engine in the Viper considering the weight savings over the challenger. It's about 1000 lbs less
Thanks

I think it will will someday but in another platform with a smaller motor?

Race cars should have racing stripes ;-)
Thank you

I'm trying to liken your experience to cars of the past. Is this like ordering a 71 HemiCuda, but already knowing this is probably going to be the penultimate, highest performing mopar for at least a decade?  I envy you sir.

Does this mean the car will see the track?

It could be the last true aero car Dodge builds?
Let's hope not
