Jeez It's been pouring rain all week and my 70 is getting soaked!  :eek2: I've wanted to wet check the running gear and body after all the repairs and things are holding up but yesterday was really bad and found a few mystery leaks and odd sounds happening. Having the A/C to dry air inside the car made a huge difference keeping the windows clear but today is going to be so bad I'm using the Jeep for potential flooded roads. Wish me luck as the Jeep's been acting up intermittently and I've not found the problem.

Good luck!

I found a leak on the lower corner of my windshield when I only had the car for a few months. It was sitting outside the office all day in a downpour. When I left work and took a turn the water ran off the top of the a/c box and my underdash radio got soaked. I fixed the leak but never replaced the radio.
With all the "natural" gaps in these cars I'm not sure they were waterproof to begin with!
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Hermine has past but still dumping rain on us in the Tampa area. The 89 Cherokee has an intermittent miss that just rare enough to be hard to find the problem. (RENIX system has no OBD.) I suspect the CPS has gunked up from oil leaks again.
