Interior window sweeps question

I ordered new window sweeps / seals.  The outside sweep / seal installs with screws easily enough.  However, it looks like the interior fuzzy sweeps are factory stapled to the door panels.  Is there another way to attatch these?  Seems to me, it would take a power stapler.  I don't have one.

I've read on this forum that some people use small screws.

I bought the heaviest staples I could find (or maybe the fuzzies came with them?) clamped the new fuzzy on the panel with spring clips, drilled tiny holes in both to match the staple, pushed the staple in and crimped it with pliers. Easy enough.
