I've had terrible luck with both the turn signal and the emergency flashers.  After installing my new dash harness, Every time I turn on the flashers, a fuse blows.  And the turn signal lit and stayed lit at one point, but now doesn't work at all.  I thought the wiring for those components was easy, but it's giving me a lot of headaches.

SOunds like one of the wires in the new harness connector is in the wrong slot. Look at your old harness and check that the new harness wires are in the same location in the connectors.
