Bought my 15 year old son a 70 RR Shell , junk yard for years , NEED HELP

Nope not giving him anything  ,  this is a father son project so he can learn and we can bond in building it , plus be proud we have saved a car that sat in a salvage yard for 30 years

that is pretty awesome gesture especially considering our past   ,  thanks you  ,   what we really need though is more like carpet and door vin stickers are gone with the rusty doors , but i have one of the sticker left . Being its a ratty Muscle car look we are going with headers and cherry bombs for the exhaust and those have been donated already.

I never take much of this internet stuff too serious.  Many of us do not know each other personally and posting is the only thing we trade with each other.  I know that 95% of my comments are taken the wrong way and for that I need to do better.

If you don't mind calling Charlie or Tom and letting them know the specifics about your Carpet & vehicle options, I'll ship you the Carpet, Package Tray and all of the decals for the entire Car.  (Including the VIN Label.)  Give them a call at 1-855-532-7846 and they will be happy to help you.  I'll make sure they include some RPM and other corrosion products if that will work on some of your metal parts.  Thanks Stuart and keep me posted on the progress.  I think it's great that you and your Son get to share this experience with one another.  Good Job......GREAT Dad.

Yes Stu I believe they are.  I have had them for over 15-20 years hanging in my basement.  I would stay away from ratty looking headers. Chances are they won't last long and as you know they are not fun to install.

herbie was really awesome and sent Ian a personalized letter tell how he was only 22 years old and had restored a few cars and
told him inspirational stories about the ups and downs and pittfalls . But that it was all worth it in the end  .  What a great guy
