Got my 70 sold in order to purchase a 69 4 speed r/t . I'm getting excited to head out on the 18 hour trip to pick it up. Should be cool. My dad and my seven year old son will be going too.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Still not sure where you are headed, or where you are coming from, but...

The Polk Street Cruise goes down Saturday, August 6th in Amarillo. 

Similarly, Summer's Last Blast in Vernon, Texas draws a lot of cars as well.

If you are already in place, or can extend the trip, it might be worthwhile.

Well we are about a third of the way there. South of Kansas City . Heading out soon.
