Which spark plugs do you prefer? 1969 383

Title - looking for the best plugs for my 383 in a 1969 Charger. TIA.

NGK vgrooves. The best by far.

On stock to mild, ive always run the basic autolite copper cores at $1 a peice with no problems. Set in my 383 were many many years old, pull a few each year to check amd just put them back in.

They came with Champion J-11y which I used for years. I use NGK in the aluminum head engine. Work well. Properly gapped and installed the correct heat range plug from a name brand manufacturer should work fine.

I have not found any magic plug that adds noticeable power. With aftermarket CD ignition systems you can open the gap up some and might see some improvement in consistent ignition and power. I use .045" with my MSD ignition.

I found that the Autolite plugs fouled less than the Champions I was using in my Max Wedge engine, so I switched to Autolites in several of my big block engines.

I ended up getting Champions - took about 45 minutes to change all 8, including racking the car... easier to change 'em from underneath
