Daytona Hemi for sale on Hemmings

I saw this ad today....says it is a 426 Hemi out of a 'tona. Seller is in Canada.

From what i have heard its supposed to be the engine from the daytona that was converted into a c500. I recall seeing pics of it had big shag rug over the dash but was pulled up for a pic of the vin. Still had braces in the trunk.

The engine is for the missing 414639 car.The SHAG Daytona  is # 414638.This one I believe is still with us.Western Canada ?

Did Hemis sit around a long time?  It has an October 1968 casting date.

Think he means hes kept all the original pistons in a box with all the other original parts from the rebuild.
