How much is involved to make this car streetable again?

In Canada is just has to meet certain variables. From that all you'd need is; Headlights, turn signals, tail lights, horn, etc. My cousin's cuda is street legal:

Seems to me just street tires and mufflers besides the safety items Drache mentions.

the ebay link you posted has been removed , here is the car listed last month ,  I liked the look of this , if I had the dough & was closer , would have gone to look at this , the motor & all associated hardware / running gear has got no be worth it alone

For the money it would cost to make streetable, I think I'd pick a different car. I can't imagine that converter, that engine, or that two gallon fuel cell would work too well on the street. And if you've got to pull the whole drive line to tweak it,(and end up with an 11 second car maybe), what's the point?

Not to mention, is the rear end built with heim joints? Those don't last long on the street.

if everything is as looks, That is a GREAT deal if you want a mopar race car.

If you want a streetable pro-street racer, then buy the car and sell off the drivetrain for something more tame.  


If you want a streetable stock Plymouth car, then buy something else.  That car is caged & tubbed & modded for racing and it will cost a bunch of money to undo it.

My thoughts about owning this car is not about racing it. It would be street driven. Cruise nights and car shows and that stuff. Trailered to distant shows, driven to local ones. Can it run stop light to  stop light and cruise at 45 mph for any distance without overheating?

in michigan you would need a place to hang a license plate,   if it has a VIN its legal  you should see some of the buckets of crap on the road here

It must be very hard to sell a race car. Re listed on Ebay several times, price dropped, and still for sale. I have never owned a race car.
