Well I finally got my oil pressure sensor problem fixed.
Kinda strange situation on the new one though.

after my old one started leaking I went to carquest to order the new one they asked me what my guage went to (which was 80 psi) Well the sensor they sold me for that wouldn't work right. The guage would only float up to 10 PSI.

Finally after two tries I went back and asked them what this other PSI one they had was for, and they said it was for a 90 psi guage. so I said let me try that one and low and behold.....it worked.

Weird hu? I have an 80 psi guage and it requires a 90 psi oil pressure sensor. Whats up with that?

Yeah, I got one of those mopar performance oil pumps

But before I put a mopar performance oil pump in I was running the original oil pressure sensor.

Never heard that one  ???  everytime I buy a new unit the only option on my 68's
they ask is if I have a gauge or an idiot light, they never ask how high my gauge reads.
I have never had any problems and I always run a high pressure pump, try another
store and see what they say ''Napa''

I'm betting the info the guy was looking up was incorrectly keypunched in his confuzer database years ago. It used to happen to me quite often in my parts store days...especially on older model cars.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
