68 Dash Pads Steel vs ABS Core

[Mopar Crazy]

I'm ion the market for a new dash pad. I found a company DPP Dash Pad Pro's. They offer two types 1. Steel Core and 2. ABS Core.
Has anyone used the ABS Core ?? any opinions about ABS vs Steel Core for fit ect ?  they use the same type of pad for both cores.
Any feed back on DPP ??

 would go with the steel core , as its going to retain its shape  , no matter what

I didn't think of it that way, warping or loosing it's shape.
