Windshield seal?

Hello,I'm getting ready to put the glasss back in the car soon. A local glass place has a windshield and the seal, but they said there is a chrome insert in it? I don't have the old one to compare. So is it just a rubber seal or is there a metal insert? Oh the car is a 69 charger.

There is no chrome in the seal. The windshield trim snaps on after the window is installed, the trim is made of stainless.

I'll have to check on that. Ya the only metal I could think of is the trim pieces.
