MY power steering pump is leaking from pulley shaft. need to find either a rebuild kit or a replacement . Just need to know exactly which pump I have I know they are very similar .  As far as I know this is the original pump from the 1968 r.t

Ok so of course no one ca  seem to find me a reman or rebuilt kit for my trw. So the question is. Does a federal just act as a direct replacement .... I assumed I will need a different bracket of course

I may habe just found a rebuild kit. they offer a kit for small and large trw. I assume the 440 came with a large pump ?

Measure the reservoir diameter, a B-body pump should measure 4 5/8" and have a plain end shaft (no hole in shaft... internal threaded or hex). This is called a .96 pump.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Do you need seals or a rebuild? I have gotten the gasket and seal kit from Rockauto. I sourced the rebuild kit from a local supply. I think they got it from Rockauto and sold it to me with a premium add ($$$).

And that is a large trw ? Mine has the hex on the shaft.  When I go to remove the pulley It is threaded then because it had the hex? Or is the pulley still pressed on.  The pump appears ro be leaking from the shaft
