Does anyone know how to prevent your seat belt from rubbing on your neck, there's got to be a clip that attaches to your bucket seat (69 charger)

tiki

is your shoulder seat belt comfortable?

No. They are terrible.

b5blue

I agree, I left mine off with new headliner install.

ITSA426

If your seatbelt is rubbing on your neck, your probably not wearing it correctly.

crj1968

How does one wear it incorrectly?

They are just a bad design thrown together because of a safety mandate.  A belt bolted to the roof with no adjustment....most were never used.

Dino

Yeah they're crap. I removed mine first day. You could probably rig something up but if you want to use a roof mounted belt then I suggest getting one of those XV type belts that come with an extension to prevent the belt from rubbing your neck.

One more vote for Crap.
Add that to the excessive inhalation of toxic fumes, blinding light off reflective surfaces and seats with no lumber support.

But it's all part of the fun.

don't wear it that normally works   :hah:

polywideblock

what about those fuzzy sheepskin pads for seat belts ,would stop the rubbing but might start the ribbing

If there was a loop connected to the top of the seat that would be a lower pivot point :shruggy:

Dino

There used to be aftermarket seat belt guides available that bolt to the headrest posts. Maybe they're still out there.

Over here front seat belts where mandatory on new cars before B body chargers were built...although you did not have to wear them until 1983 (rears from 1991). So if you don't wear your Charger seat belt here you will be pulled over and ticketed £50!
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

same here must wear a seat belt but left hand drive cars over here must have Australian standard belts so no original type belts allowed which i was a bit pissed about as i wanted my car factory original the funny thing is everything else has to be dead standard to register the car left hand drive which I'm happy about but this is the big but ! we don't have to have the shoulder belt so all i need is a lap sash type belt around the waist :shruggy: to register the car. safety at its best

tiki

i just looped it through the back of the :2thumbs: headrest and that brings it to a better location

That does not sound healthy if you get in a fender bender and the seat belt is pulling the metal bars into your head from the head rest  :P
