Original paint color

So I knew my current triple black charger wasn't the original paint as I can see a few spots on the underside that are green. I haven't found a build sheet either to confirm. The interior was also dyed black and the steering wheel (that I replaced already) was dyed too, but was originally green. As I was admiring it today  ;) I noticed that there was some slight green over-spray on the top of the rear 3/4 windows. I'd assumed (incorrectly?) that it was originally a green car, but it wouldn't have over-spray on the window from the factory? Maybe it was originally green and had a green repaint at some point?

It could have been a repair, or freshened up, or the vinyl top removed at some point (hardly any paint under it), and a gazillion other possibilities over the almost 50 years that thing has been around.

Without an original build sheet or fender tag it can be difficult to be sure.
It does seem though, that the green ones seemed to survive better than all the others combined😜

The car will have been green in and out until proven otherwise. Guess what mine was.
