Wow. Lots of work to make those pesky valance corners 'fit".

:scratchchin:

Ryan.C

I welded my valance corners and skim coated them with plastic filler for no other reason than I like the smooth look. But this Charger is ridiculous. How much bondo does it take to fill in the bumper? Good grief.
There are few problems in life that cannot be solved with C-4.

Hey, they're just trying to make a 68 look better than a 69, never will happen! :icon_smile_big:

I agree.   Lots of work went into that...not my cup of tea but to each his own :Twocents:
Chris' '69 Charger R/T

XP29F  - 383 with the distributor in the rear.  I think the seller missed something, or it is truly a rare combination.  :nana:

I don't like, but someone probably will and as long as they are happy with it, then that is OK by me.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Drache

The interior is the only thing that makes me cringe. The monitor for the gauges is too small in my opinion (needs to be larger to fill in the space). The white looks like places where carbon fiber was meant to be and the one spot looks like another monitor was supposed to go.

That car is a sweaty, unwashed asshole of an automobile.

JR

The rear end reminds me of this.

That said, fix the rear end, ditch the stereo stuff, tweak the dash some more,  and I could dig it.

Hey, if every car was a perfect stock resto, there would never be anything to buy for less than $30,000.

Wait, a 383 has the distributor in the rear??

He was being facetious . :pity:

Pro-street and rusty, meh, just a different way of ruining Chargers.

cincyboy

I can respect the work that went into this.  Overall its cool because its a charger and someone obviously loved it.  Engine bay and rear end need some re-engineering though.

plum500

Though nothing like this, I expect you guys are gonna hate mine :)

Dump the wheels and I'm diggin' it.  :2thumbs:
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Daytona R/T SE

The ass end of that thing looks like a little kid waddling around with a giant load in his diaper.  :eek2:

G-man

Yeah I agree, need to ditch those corvette tailights and put charger lights in, would look much better.

alfaitalia

Hmmmm. There are lots of things I like about it.....but lots that I don't. Moving the stereo screen up from the consul into that big blank space at the top of the dash and finishing the carbon to lose the white bits would be a step in the right direction IMO. As for the tail....well yes 69 tail lights would be loads better.......even if you want to continue the modded look with the LED cluster but retaining the 69 light shape that would be better that what's there. Id like to hope that on what is quite an expensive looking build that the rear would have been fabbed from metal panels with only the minimum of filler to finish it off.....if there really is that mush bondo in it then it will be crack city in a few years time!!!
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!
