ANYONE HAVE ANY GOOD CAR FLICKS OF SOME GOOD OLE STREET RACING THAT DOESN'T HAVE A CHEAZY STORY LINE ?????
THE DEVIL'S A PIMP DON'T BE HIS HOE!

Charger_Fan

I guess it depends on what you consider cheesy. ;D
American Graffiti is a good one.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Carlwalski

Most car flicks are cheesy....they fill up with gas once in 3 days of pedal to the metal driving.  :icon_smile_big:

Old Moparz

That one called "Hot Rod" was good & not too cheesy. It has good guys & bad guys, fast cars & a Hemi too.  :2thumbs:

Surprisingly, it was a made for TV flick.

Bullit, Steve McQueen
Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry(69 Charger R/T is the star in this one) Long car chase scene. Peter Fonda, Susan George.
The Hollywood Knights- Tony Danza, Michelle Pfeiffer
Grease
Gone in 60 Seconds- The original 1974 version.
Heck, even the new Fast and delirious movies have some nice muscle cars in them.  Depends on your taste in movies but I have to agree with American Graffitti being number one.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Brock Samson

i dunno i still think Two Lane Blacktop is the most authentic,..   :icon_smile_cool:

Shakey

I was also thinking of America Grafiti.

I think Thunderbolt & Lightfoot was a good movie with a decent story.

Mike DC

It doesn't feature the hottest Mustangs & Cudas, but I've always liked "White Lightning" from 1973.

It's the serious early Burt Reynolds moonshining movie that you didn't think was possible.

Wow, thanks man! My 6 year old daughter and I are the biggest fans of that movie, but I've never seen that site, very cool!  :2thumbs:
I think it's one of the best car flicks made, period.

Aussiemadonmopars

Some of the Aussie flicks.

Running on Empty - has a Blown 57 2 door Chev v Dodge Challenger, also has a passing shot of a Daytona, a movie about street racing in Melbourne. You get to see a guy write off a Phase 3 Ford Falcon and a Bathurst model HG Chevy Monaro.

Mad Max 1 & 2 - of course.

Wog Boy - has a good shot of a Blown Aussie 69 Valiant Hardtop, similar to the Darts.
