hello all I'm not switched on to the differences between a big block car and a hemi car but didn't only hemi cars come with the skid plate as i was looking at this car and noticed the skid plate maybe a cross member swap ? as the id plates are missing could this be a hemi car maybe the experts can nut it out.anyway its not a bad car original 4 speed and pretty rust free

 in 1970:
the B & E-bodies with 440HP, 440 3x2bbl & HEMI all received the "HEMI oil pan" & a K-frame with a skid plate.

Danas came with one of two little plugs to the left of the cover in an accessory threaded hole.  One was red and one was green(with the word clover written on it).  No one has been able to determine as to which years got either one or if it was a plant variation.  If your not interested in OE correctness than most wouldn't understand nor care but for the ones that do it is a neat little find...... :popcrn:

Think Hemi cars had the extra re enforcement box around the front of the rear spring mounts

They should of. And most of the time they did....but sometimes they forgot to put them in. Also should have a floor reinforcement plate above the pinion snubber.......another hit and miss Hemi item.

Can't forget about the flat triangular pieces on the rear of the frame rails; at least on B-bodies.  :2thumbs:

Plus the price would be 30k higher.

Probably not going to go that far when/if I ever get to my car but find this stuff interesting none the less.

The repops don't say "Clover" on them - so a tough little detail item to find.
