60 million airbags recalled.

   As my 2 cars have no airbags I haven't paid much attention. My Florida Dept. of Consumer Affairs monthly letter strongly advises everyone to check twice yearly for recalls of their airbag equipped autos and trucks. It goes on to list what looks like every manufacturer selling in the USA. 8 million fixed so 52 million more to go?

I even heard on the radio the other day that some of the replacement airbags are also defective.

Had the drivers side bag in my '05 Magnum recalled/replaced last year.  The wifes '02 CR-V had both driver/passenger bags done also.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you when you rode into the Carlisle show with me that my 2004 Ram is on the recall list. The pillow on the back seat is not for my daughter when she wants to take a nap, you're supposed to hold it in front of you to keep the shrapnel out of your face when the passenger side airbag goes off.
