440 cid Engine Coolant Temp Sensor Locations

I'm about to start the installation of a FiTech EFI 30002 unit on a 68 Dodge Charger with a 440 cid engine. The only location I can identify for the FiTech coolant temp sensor is in the water pump housing. Using that port will disable the existing coolant temp gauge. I'd rather not disable the gauge.

Are there any other ports available I can use for the FiTech coolant sensor either on the intake manifold (Edelbrock CH-4B) or one of the cylinder heads?  If not, recommended solutions would be appreciated.

There are no pipe plugs in the top of your water pump housing? Mine has two plus the smaller factory temp sensor port facing forward. I used  one of the ones on top for my FItech sensor.

Intakes are dry on BB Mopars , so their are no ports on them.

I went through the same thing looking for a place to put an extra temp sender to run electric fans.  I ended up using a spacer under the thermostat. The brand was Meziere

Thanks! I found the second plug. It will take some work to get to it but I believe it will meet my need.
