Cleaned all the junk out of my trunk to decide how much patching I will need to do to the trunk floor
The back end of the car is still up on jack stands so I can get the gas tank out first
With the car up that high in the air I notice some writing on the inside of the passenger 1/4 panel
Looks like it has been changed a very long time ago

As near as I can tell (words are upside down when looking at them on the car)

One set says R Morton

Next one says Traveller

Looks like WHSH  have no idea what this means

Car would have been fixed on the west coast as near as I can tell

And the code number on the 1/4  2902634

Is that a Dodge number ?

replaced 1/4 w/NOS #2902634

WHSH = warehouse
R Morton = either dealership or customer
TRAVELLER = probably an additional order number associated with it

Yup, the gray primer inside & the brushed on tar give it away as a replacement quarter.

Speaking of Traveller, didn't there use to be a member on here who had a car named traveller? Or maybe it was the member's name. I dunno.
Nothing personal, just business

Just spit-balling here but "back in the day" the Master Parts List provided a so-called "code word" for each part, in addition to the part number, that was used in telegrams and teletypes....Traveller could be the code word for that part.  :shruggy:
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Having another look at the pictures there is a letter M in front of the word Traveller
Could just be another initial or the last part of a word that is covered up by the tar
(just glad it was not a J  ;) )
