Howdy all.
I recently purchased new front and back glass trim finally. It's been years since the paint was done and the glass installed.
Never really drove it much, so it just kinda didn't happen. So I got the front on no problem. The back I just couldn't get to pop on. It's just right there. Just too high... :-\
I was wondering if there were any tips from yous guys' to get this on without some piano wire and a bunch of swearing. (cut out/re-do)
There's nothing really I can do as far as the installer is concerned. It's just been too long ago. I've tried wood blocks and the solid slap. Seems the back is a different breed. Thinking now I will try the original stuff I took off and test again. I can take some pics of the clips to gauge a height.
Has anyone else had an issue with the new stuff?

Could be the glass is sitting at the wrong depth in the hole. I'm not sure if my step by step will help you, but here it is.
