Any help on 4 rim/tires same front and back?

  Anyone running same tires and rims on all four. I'm looking rim/tire packages but want to be able to rotate tires on my 70 Charger as it's a daily driver. I like the Torq Thrust line but starting to give up on trying to find rim/tire combo that works/looks good front and back.
  I've read through the Wheel Help topic but not trying to over-stuff my wheel wells just get decent look/performance. I've 11 3/4" disk up front so 15" or 16" rim minimum.

I think 255 or 245 60/15 will fit on the front and back (I am using 245 60/15 on the front and 255/60 on the back, so still staggered).  Don't know about clearing the brakes.
Don't know about 16 or whether they are easier to find tires for.

There are guys running wider than 255 in the front, but I just installed 255/45R18 on 18x8 wheels with 4.5" backspace and if I had gone any wider I can almost guarantee I would have rubbed the fender on the passenger side.

245 or 255 is a fairly safe bet.

Seventeens look a bit too rice, in my opinion.

One of the main attractive elements to your first choice of wheels, Torq Thrusts, is the fact that they look smaller than they actually are. The eye is drawn to the small painted spoke center area.

Don't go Rallyes or Magnums, they are WAY too heavy. If you plan to daily drive it, get an alloy set of wheels.

have 255x60x15 on a 8x15 inch wheel with 4 inch back space , at all four corners & in the trunk  ,  car has stock drums . 255 with that back space , put the tire really close to the fender lip , at full steering lock  at full suspension compression , may be less than 1/2 inch  may be 7/16  , never rubbed ,  so  for a extra margin of safety ! I fabricated my own version of the 1969 & a half  , A12 cars ,  front lower bump stop spacers ,  & fitted Dana axle bump stops .

  Hey Tan! I've the A12 spacers also. I've not forgotten our talks about this.  Between off sets and back space, brake clearance and price jumps on tire size changes I've learned a lot in two days! So if I find a 16 rim and a tire with the same outside dimensions as a 245/55 R15 it would be ideal and save sprung weight. 
  The only other factor is factory front end geometry, keeping the steering pivot rim/tire placement similar. (I may have been reading my Mopar Chassis book to much.  )

Last fall I put these on my '68 Charger R/T with factory front disc and rear drum brakes with no clearance issues.

- BFG G-Force Sport Comp-2 245/50r16 front and 255/50r16 rear
- American Racing VN105D Torq Thrust D - 16 x 8

Looking now, I think I could fit 255s all the way around.

Now my 11 3/4 disk are haunting me, when I search 80 St. Regis to check brake clearance selection changes. I need to take a step back... (Too much else to do now.) Thanks for the info it's much appreciated!
