Working on my 69 Charger I came across this part still on the car
Over the years I must have had a dozen 68 69 70 Chargers by now and this is the very first one I have ever found on my car

yes !   I ordered up a repop ,  & fitted it ,  after I done a nut  & bolt resto , but , have long since removed it , & used a alternative idea

Mine used to but now I have the tanks inc fuel injection tank and there fuel sender so no.

So yes it is the factory gas tank sender unit ground strap

When I was working on the rear end vent tube I noticed that I need a new rubber gas line
Gas line that is there still has the factory crimped on hose clamp

Took the pictures with my phone that I always seem to have with me these days

I ordered one, the supplier was out of plain steel and sent an upgraded one of stainless. Not worth a damn, stainless isn't spring steel so installing it pushes the tabs apart so it can't grip. I took tie wire and made a crappy mess that's worked for years but looks like shit.
