Just commited to purchase a charger next week after I go look at the car and it lives up to the sales ad...  I look forward to the restoration process and bringing the car back to its original condition.  I am sure I will be checking in here for info and advise as the project moves along.  I have the typical story in that I owned a charger as a kid and after decades of wanting one back I am on the verge of fulfilling that dream.

If the Engine has already been rebuilt, IMO, it would be a very good idea to ask what Pistons were used in that process, due to the predominance of extremely poor "stock replacement" cast type Pistons that result in extremely low Compression Ratios, and even poorer performance capabilities(nowhere near stock).
See here for more info:
http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,118292.0.html

Long story short, there is no such thing as a "stock replacement" cast 10:1 Compression 375 hp 440 Piston since the 70's,
and,
the cast Pistons advertised as the "stock replacement" for the last 35 years, are actually down High 7's to low 8's to one Compression resulting in very poor performance.

Just sayĆn....
if the rebuilt Engine is a "plum" for you in the deal, make damn sure what Piston was used, and do NOT accept just a verbal 1969 "stock replacement", because that is a surefire tell-take of the notorious very low compression cast slugs.
Even some of the forged Pistons like the L2266 result in very low C.R(poor performance).
