Anyone know what year Chrysler introduced EGR valves?

71 SE3834V

Well my Dad's '73 318 had one and my '71 383 doesn't so that narrows it down a bit.😀

Interesting tidbit. The egr went bad on the 73 back in the late 70's. I went to the dealer and bought a block off plate from them. Boy times have changed!

Times have changed for sure! I don't imagine too many dealers would condone blanking of an egr system today.

So 72 or 73 must be the first. Anyone got a 72 model with an egr valve?

EGR first appeared in '72 in the form of floor jets in the intake manifold, the EGR valve didn't appear until '73.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
