Reckon it's a typo.

Stripe option of some sort, judging on the location on the tag.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Probably should read V1X....the Q is real close to the 1 on the keyboard....

yeah ,  just looked at & the Q & 1 on the key board !   think your right  , never realised that before  :2thumbs:  :2thumbs:

,  never factored in maybe it should of had a vinyl top  , because   from where im looking ,!  looks like it could be originalish paint  , through my computer screen  :shruggy:  , must of been removed long long time ago & holes filled & repainted etc   :scratchchin: :yesnod:

what kind of keyboard did they use in 69?  :shruggy: it would be interesting to see the process on how these tags were actually made.

IBM computer keyboards have pretty much always been laid out like a typewriter. It made the transistion easy.

But I suspect these were done with one of those metal stamping machines that looked like a typewriter.
