is it possible a 68 charger can have a 741 case original from factory with a 383 original and auto?  I always though B bodies had the 742 member with big blocks or the 489 case.

My '71 383-2bbl came from the factory with an 8.25 rear, so I wouldn't be surprised by a 741 case 8.75.
