This is an AMD full quarter being fitted to an original never removed valance corner and valance. The fit isn't half bad. Small pie cut and it all lines up decent except at the lower rear window corner. Doesn't quite line up. But overall not too bad. First time I got to fit a AMD quarter to original ass end before. Normally they are also junk

That's reassuring. Thanks for posting

Huh, maybe you got a better stamping. This one here, after lining up all the points there was that small gap.  Measuring the lower edge to the wheel well, after pie cutting it it is now the same length as original. It was 1/4" short at the bottom. If I pinched that gap together it would of opened up a gap on the rear valance side.

Great skills Chris.  :2thumbs:

Here's a side by side profile.

Be nice if they made them right & you didn't need to cut & splice. Guess I'm asking for to much? LEON.

If it were easy everybody would do it.  :Twocents:
It does look like they're getting closer. Literally.

Everybody is trying it & finding out it's not as easy as they thought it would be. :scratchchin: :shruggy: :Twocents: :slap:

When I get to the point that I have to cut a 3" slice and splice it I'll be as happy as a man can be. Anyone install the repro door hinge pillars? Now those are complete junk, but with a little time I have made it work, much better then the rotten ones I had! From what I can see with all my AMD parts, they are light years ahead of what is out there. I think even if the parts need a little work we should all be happy we have something to work with aside from patch panels and rotten stuff. Thanks for the post CB, within the next few months I'm hoping I can get to my quarters and so on an posts like these help!

Whew!  Deja-vu.... I ran into the same issue with the Charger 500 that did a year or so ago.  I was using AMD quarters, corners, and rear valance panel.  I had to pie cut the quarters and the valance to make them fit the corners.
